Anime: Seasons & Premieres
Anime is no longer a side shelf next to gaming โ it's the same audience, the same release calendar, and increasingly the same franchises. This hub covers anime news, new seasons and premiere dates, streaming premieres on legitimate services, anime game adaptations, and manga-to-anime announcements โ dated, sourced, and with confirmed announcements kept strictly separate from rumour, exactly like our game coverage.

Announcements, badged
Anime runs on announcement seasons: production committees confirm a new season, a streaming service claims a premiere, a manga crosses over. It also runs on rumour โ leaked episode counts, "insider" renewal claims, fan-account date guesses presented as fact. Our approach is the site's approach: a premiere date is Confirmed when the production or an official channel announces it, Rumour when it traces to anything less, and the badge travels with the story wherever it appears โ in the news hub briefs and on the Release Radar, where confirmed anime premieres now sit alongside game launches.
New seasons & premieres
What this hub tracks each season โ without inventing a single title or date. When an official announcement lands, it gets a dated brief; until then, these are the four currents to watch:
Where anime meets games
The crossover is constant in both directions: games get anime adaptations that send player counts spiking years after launch, anime series get games that range from arena fighters to full RPGs, and some of the biggest franchises in either medium now launch as coordinated anime-game pairs. For this site's readers the practical questions are the same as always โ is the adaptation confirmed, who's making it, and when does it actually arrive? Anime adaptations of tracked games, and games adapted from covered series, are followed in the news hub and dated on the Release Radar like any other launch.
Watch it legally
Every premiere we cover points at licensed channels only โ the subscription streaming services that pay for anime rights (Crunchyroll is the dedicated anime service; the big general services license anime too) and official theatrical releases. We never link to pirate streaming or torrent sites: unlicensed streams pay nothing to the studios and creators whose work this hub exists to celebrate, and their "free" libraries are routinely bundled with the worst ad networks on the internet. Regional availability varies โ a series licensed in one country may sit elsewhere in another โ so each brief names the service and region from the official announcement, not from assumption.
